Our one day Highlights & Dimensional Colouring course is designed to teach you how to create beautiful all-over lightening effects with soft, natural-looking dimension. This technique is perfect for clients wanting a brighter look while still maintaining depth and movement throughout the hair.

What You Will Learn

• How to achieve professional highlight results using foil techniques
• Correct application methods from root to tip for even colour distribution
• How to create soft dimension and customised blonde looks
• Root maintenance and regrowth blending techniques
• When and how to introduce lowlights to balance excessive lightness
• The difference between full head highlights, half head highlights, and T-section applications
• Client consultation and colour planning for desired results and maintenance schedules
• Safe bleaching and colouring practices to minimise hair damage
• How to manage overlapping colour and maintain the condition of the hair over time

We also teach students about client aftercare and maintenance, including recommended salon visits every 4–6 weeks to maintain fresh, seamless highlights and healthy-looking hair.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence and practical skills to create professional highlighted looks while understanding the importance of hair health, upkeep, and long-term colour maintenance.
