Lorraine & Victoria

Lorraine Fowler

Lorraine is an internationally experienced hairdresser, makeup artist, and extension specialist with over 30 years in the beauty and fashion industry. Throughout her career, Lorraine has worked across major fashion capitals including London, Paris, and New York City, building a reputation for excellence in editorial styling, celebrity events, film premieres, and film and television productions.

Lorraine has successfully managed and developed salons internationally while leading a highly skilled global team working on prestigious red carpet events and international fashion weeks. Her extensive industry experience has allowed her to collaborate on some of the world’s most high-profile productions and luxury events.

Having spent many years working in Shoreditch, Fitzrovia, Covent Garden, and The Strand, Lorraine is now a teacher and assessor focused on inspiring and educating the next generation of hairstylists and makeup artists. Alongside Victoria, she has co-founded Montana Pro Elite Academy, a new academy dedicated to delivering professional training, industry insight, and real-world expertise to aspiring creatives in hair and makeup.

Victoria Whelan

Victoria is a highly experienced hairdresser with over 24 years in the industry. Her journey began in Dublin at just 16 years old, where she trained in a prestigious salon located just off Grafton Street. She later went on to open her own salon in Clontarf, creating a space that reflected her creativity, vision, and passion for the craft.

Over 20 years ago, Victoria relocated to the United Kingdom, where she continued to develop her expertise and deepen her love for hairdressing. Dedicated to constantly evolving her skills, she has trained and worked in renowned salons across Paris and New York City, while also participating in high-profile fashion shows and creative industry events.

Alongside her extensive salon and fashion experience, Victoria is also a passionate assessor and mentor, committed to supporting and guiding the next generation of hairdressers as they begin their professional journeys. Her dedication to education and creativity is at the heart of everything she does.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need previous experience to apply?

No. We welcome both beginners and developing artists, with courses designed to support a range of experience levels.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes. Students receive an MPE certification upon successfully completing their course.

How large are the class sizes?

We keep class sizes focused to ensure students receive personalised guidance and support throughout their training, meaning we have around 12 students per class.

Do I need to buy a uniform?

Uniforms are required for all of our Advanced Courses and are included within your course fee. You will be asked to select your preferred size during checkout.

Uniforms are optional for our Intensive Courses; however, if you would like to purchase an official MPE tunic or apron, they are available to buy here.

Will I work with professional products and equipment?

Yes. Students train using industry-standard tools, products and techniques used within professional film, TV and salon environments.
